I got a call letter for a walk-in interview. I got there at 9:30 AM, but my interview didn't start until 12 PM. After that, I was told to wait for the HR round. Around 2 PM, I asked if I could go for lunch, and they said yes. I waited until 4 PM for the HR round, and then I asked for an update. Someone came around 5:30 PM for the HR interview. The HR person was very unprofessional, speaking poorly and mentioning a 'free lunch' and only a 25% hike. I stated I wasn't interested. Strangely, I later received an offer with only a 14% hike. When I questioned the large gap, the HR person rudely said that was the best they could offer based on my experience and education according to the market. I advise others not to waste their time with this company, as they invite candidates for interviews knowing they won't meet expectations and waste a full day. Management needs to address this.

The whole thing lasted for one day.. There were supposed to be two rounds same day, one technical and another HR.. The technical round was about 45 minutes long.. They really dug into my resume, asking questions based on what I had written and my replies. The 3 people on the panel would ask more when they wanted to know specifics about my resume. After that, they asked about general FI processes like APP, FI-MM-SD integration, different accounting entries, closing procedures, and challenges I've faced in projects and how I solved them. I felt I answered most of them well and confidently, and was honest when I didn't know something. I even asked the lead panel member for feedback at the end, which was really positive. He mentioned I'd get a call on Monday from an HR lady for the second round since it was getting late. But, that call never happened!

Interview process was good. I was wrapped up in two weeks and I received my offer letter with expected compensation. First round was face to face, second managerial round and salary discussion was telephonic. First two rounds were technical and almost all areas in SAP ABAP were covered. Interview difficulty was average. However, I appreciate Talent acquisition team to keep the interview process clear, easy and fast.
