The interview process put more emphasis on design and metrology, specifically measurements. The staff members were friendly and didn't focus too much on project work. The HR interview was about your job location preferences, your willingness to relocate, and your personal life.

The first round is an aptitude test which includes Quantitative Aptitude questions, verbal reasoning, General Knowledge (GK), and Technical Questions. The test has a total of 60 questions to be completed in 60 minutes, with a maximum score of 60. Out of the 60 questions, 4 are GK, 26 are Quant+Verbal aptitude covering topics like trains, percentages, rivers, odd man out, series, equations, area, volume, profit and loss, probability, and normal easy verbal questions. The remaining 30 questions are Technical, covering FM, SOM, Applied Thermo, Thermo, Design of Machine elements, and Tom1. After the aptitude test, the next round might be a Group Discussion (GD) if needed, or directly a Personal Interview. For the interview, detailed knowledge of designing, software proficiency, and basic Mechanical Engineering concepts are necessary. Having certificates for CAD CAM courses is a plus. Basic knowledge of Catia, Creo, and Ansys is required.

They start with a written test scored out of 1000, and about 80 people get selected. After that, there's a group discussion with 8 members in each team, and 30 people move forward from there. Then comes a technical interview, and 15 people are selected. The HR interview is just a formality. To pass this, make sure you know the basics of design and strength of materials, specifically stress-strain curves and bending moment and shear stress diagrams. Good luck!
