I had a terrible interview experience. There was no job description or profile provided. I was called for an interview the next day at Tata Technologies Bangalore, which is a small office. I arrived at 10 am, but the interview didn't start until 6 pm. No refreshments were available, and the canteens were closed. The interviewers were coming from Pune, and I had to wait 8 hours without food or snacks. After the interview, I waited another hour for the results. The interviewer asked only 5 testing questions and finished. They should inform candidates about the job role beforehand instead of making them wait, but they said it was confidential. The candidates who arrived at 7 am were very frustrated. It seemed like they were unprepared and just wasting people's time. The HR facilitating the interview didn't know anything and mentioned they were visiting from Pune. The HR who initially called me was also unprofessional, calling me 5 times in 4 minutes, and their number was marked as Spam. I will never interview with Tata Technologies again.

You'll have a face-to-face interview where they'll discuss your availability, responsibilities, and opportunities. They might tell you upfront that you're a good fit. However, you could later get an email from HR saying your profile wasn't shortlisted, with no explanation. If you ask why, you'll find out there's no concrete reason, and they'll just say it's feedback from the panel. It's a really disappointing experience, a waste of time and effort. People should be more reasonable in their professional lives.
