So, TaskUs put up this job for an Instructional Designer, saying it was remote. After I went through some initial interview stuff, they hit me with the news that it wasn't remote at all, but hybrid, meaning I'd have to go into the office three days a week. And get this, the office is in Texas! I don't even live in Texas, and I'd already rearranged my schedule for the next steps. It was a real bummer and I had to pass. Honestly, it feels pretty messed up to start a professional relationship based on a lie like that.
