I applied straight on the TaskRabbit careers site. It took about 3.5 weeks to hear back from a recruiter via email for an initial chat to go over pay and when I could start. Then, it was another week before I spoke with the Hiring Manager for a brief, mostly social, conversation. After that, it was another two weeks until I interviewed with five people, including the HM. About a week later, I got an email saying they were looking for different skills. I think my skills could have been assessed by the recruiter and HM during those first talks, rather than the two really pleasant and social chats we had. All in all, I spent over 5 hours in interviews and 2+ hours prepping with TaskRabbit.

The whole process from beginning to end was good and quick. My panel interview was made of four straight Google Hangout meetings back-to-back with two other managers, a director, and the COO. Everyone was nice, involved, enthusiastic and genuinely spoke. I really felt the company culture and was excited during the discussions. The questions were very insightful and showed they were paying attention and were interested. I liked the direct approach.
