I applied online and heard back about a month later. They invited me for an in-person interview at their O'Fallon, IL office. I met with a project manager and two software engineers in a conference room. We talked for about an hour, covering both technical and behavioral topics. One of the things they asked was about teamwork, like if I had ever worked with someone unhelpful. They also asked me to explain inheritance in OOP. There was just one coding problem on the whiteboard: reversing a string. The day after the interview, they called to see if I was still interested and said they wanted to move forward and make an offer.

Applied online and then got a surprise call a month later, no email. They wanted me to come for an in-person interview right away, which felt weird since we hadn't done any prior screening. But, I decided to go for it and drove 4.5 hours to San Luis Obsipo for a 2-hour interview. It was a panel of 4 people. They asked about my experience, then we did 2 coding problems on the whiteboard, and I had to draw a UML diagram for a network. I felt pretty good about it. A week later, I got an email from HR saying they chose another candidate. The whole process was a bit of a mess: they had me travel a long distance without any technical screening first, they didn't reply to my questions about travel reimbursement or interview duration, and the rejection came from a generic email instead of the person I was talking to.

I applied online and heard back about two weeks later for an in-person interview. First, HR chatted with me about my past work experience and the reasons for leaving my previous role. They also gave me a quick rundown of the company and what they're looking for in a candidate. This part took about 30 minutes. Then, I met with the tech lead for a technical chat. We discussed my scripting background, Object Oriented programming ideas, and databases. That session ran for about 45 minutes. I got an offer via email the very next day.
