Business Development Representative
The interviewers had a strange vibe. I didn't get an offer, but I wouldn't have taken it anyway. The questions were very HR-like and generic, not really assessing ability or aptitude for the job.
- Can you share an instance where you made a mistake?
Software Engineer
first round is an OA with math questions. not too hard. first interview is 3 competition math style questions with medium difficulty. 2nd interview discussed concepts of graphic ascent/neural networks with an engineer (you don't need to be an expert for this-- they seem to care more about your thought process). i learned a lot about neural networks during this stage from my interviewer. 3rd interview was a coding interview with leetcode medium style questions. 4th interview was another engineer and was some behavorial questions mixed with questions about how you would implement something (no actual coding. just discussion).
- Math competition questions
- Concepts of graphic ascent/neural networks
- Why would neural networks use x feature
Engineering Intern
I first had to complete an online test with several math questions. The first interview round also consisted entirely of math questions. Honestly, the whole interview process was a bit strange. I ended up getting rejected.
- Could you tell me how many 1cm sticks would be needed to physically construct a 20 by 20 matrix?
- How many 1cm sticks can physically make up a 20 * 20 matrix?
Sales Development Representative
So first, I had to take this test, the Wonderlic, to check my skills. I spent a couple hours practicing for it beforehand. Then I had two interviews. They also asked me a bunch of questions to figure out my personality. The second person I talked to was pretty cool, but the first interviewer was really rude. I was a bit nervous at first, but she totally ignored me after I started answering the first question, like, within 30 seconds. She even rolled her eyes and started checking her email. She was really dismissive the whole time. Given how many steps there are to even get an interview, you'd think they'd be more attentive. She was the manager for all the SDRs, so I'm actually glad I didn't get the job, 'cause I wouldn't want to work for someone like that.
- Can you tell me about yourself and why you're interested in Talroo?
