Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tally Solutions.
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty good overall. The technical interview felt a bit long, but the HR round was great. I ended up getting the offer and am happy with the job. I even referred a friend who is also enjoying their work here.
- Can you describe your project in detail?
Software Engineer Trainee
This was the worst interview experience. I passed all three coding questions in the online round. They select candidates based on their 10th and 12th marks, even though the notification only mentions a 60% requirement. It seems biased towards marks, as people who didn't clear all test cases also got selected for further rounds.
- Questions mostly on arrays at an intermediate level
- Questions mostly on strings at an intermediate level
Software Engineer Trainee
The interview process started with an online test that included aptitude, logical reasoning, and coding questions. Candidates who did well in the online test were then invited for interviews. After the technical round, some candidates were selected, some were rejected, and a few were called for a subsequent interview.
