The recruiter reached out about a job and scheduled a call, but they missed our interview twice. Then, the recruiter gave me the wrong address for the on-site interview and didn't know basic things about my profile or the job, like the number of holidays. The next interviewer was good and asked smart questions, but I learned the job was quite different from what the recruiter described. They said there would be a third round and feedback in 3 days, but I never heard back. I had to follow up, and they said I wasn't the best fit and they'd look for someone else. Overall, it was pretty disappointing, especially coming from a recruiting company.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had my first call with the Director of Technology, who was super smart and easy to chat with. She gave me some really good pointers on what to expect in the next interviews and was always polite and prompt with her emails and feedback. Then, I had a second round with all the upper management folks (Tech, Life Sciences, and the Director). They asked me some basic stuff about how I do business development and which roles I'd want to work on. There was also an online personality test, which was simple to do and checked things like personality and spatial reasoning. The final round was similar to the second, but with tougher questions. I was a little confused because I applied for a technical recruiter job, but they kept asking about what kind of roles I wanted to fill - like, obviously tech ones. They really seemed to want me to focus on Life Sciences during the final interview (I guess the tech director wasn't impressed with me). When I stood my ground about focusing on tech roles, they kind of lost interest. I got a call from the Director saying they weren't going to move forward. He was very professional and gave me feedback, and I'd suggest for future hires that they make the role description clearer for applicants because the job details were a bit disorganized.

Group Presentation Behavioral

It was an Assessment Day in Birmingham with an external Recruitment Company. There were 3 group activities throughout the day, it was pretty relaxed. They cut people in half twice by splitting the groups. I made it to the final stage which was a 2 min presentation on why they should hire me. Out of 10+ people, I was one of 4 they invited for a drink after. They then asked me back the next day for a formal interview. And the rest is history!
