After a first phone chat with an HR person, I was scheduled to come to their Suresnes office to meet with them and the team manager. Turns out the manager wasn't available, and the HR person had 'forgotten' to let me know. They only had 30 mins for me. I've followed up since then and heard nothing back. Overall, very bad impression, totally unprofessional and disrespectful towards candidates.

The interview process is quite thorough and organized. Here's a breakdown of the stages: Round 1 was a phone interview with the hiring manager to go over my profile and technical skills. Then, Round 2 was a Skype interview with the VP of Sales and Alliances to discuss my background, experience, and some situational questions. Rounds 3 through 6 were onsite interviews. These included one-on-one meetings with the VP of Sales and Alliances, a customer discovery and engagement interview to check my skills in that area, a presentation and demo of Talend products to showcase value proposition, and a situational interview about my personality. The final onsite was a panel with the CTO, Hiring Manager, VP Sales, and Manager of Alliances. They even pre-ordered lunch for me. Round 7 was a phone interview with the Director of Sales Engineering, followed by Round 8, a phone interview with the SVP of Global Sales. Even though there were many rounds, the team was really approachable and honest with feedback. The HR team did an amazing job setting everything up. It's best to be ready for both technical and behavioral parts of the interview.
