Behavioral Presentation Technical

It was a very defined process. I interviewed with several managers. In the next to last interview, I had to role play a mock sales presentation. Some of the questions and feedback seemed irrelevant and were aimed at figuring out why I wasn't a good fit for Talend. They aren't the market leader and they approached me; they should have tried to sell me on why I should work there. They claim they hire "the best of the best," but I find that hard to believe. Three people were really nice and professional, but the other two were not.

They use 'Top Grading' to identify top talent. The process highlights Talend's competitive pricing and speed in the Big Data and integration market. Sales management conducts reference checks, so be cautious about providing references before an offer is secured, as it can lead to an unprofessional situation. Management seemed to struggle with basic technical setup for the job trial presentation, and there were inter-departmental disputes visible. There's a perceived lack of understanding of their own solutions and market from management. This company's internal practices raise concerns about its future prospects and customer treatment. Overall, the process and company felt disorganized and unprofessional.
