Consultant
The hiring process kicks off with submitting your application (CV) and a recruiter screening you, often followed by a quick phone chat to check your background and motivation. Then, there are technical interviews or practical tests to see your skills, and after that, behavioral/HR interviews to assess your soft skills. Finally, the company will extend an offer, which might involve some negotiation before you sign the contract.

Project Manager
My interview at Talan had a few parts. First, I chatted with an HR recruiter to make sure my background and why I wanted the job matched. Then, I met a manager for a more technical talk about my skills and what I'd be doing. Lastly, we talked about salary and when I could start. It all went pretty fast.

Consulting Manager
Had an HR interview and one with a Director. The HR interview was nice and offered a good impression. Unfortunately, that was quickly overshadowed by the next meeting with top management. They weren't smiling, arrived 15 minutes late without apology, and didn't highlight the firm at all, asking superficial questions. It really killed the enthusiasm. Then, they promised a quick response, but I haven't heard back in 1.5 months despite following up via text, phone, and email. Talk about being ghosted. It says a lot about this firm; I'm thankful for this disastrous interview experience because it saved me from joining. In my opinion, move on quickly.

Salesforce Business Analyst
A Talan employee referred me for a Business Analyst (BA) position. I had a first interview with HR, which went very well. However, there was one thing that bothered me: since the interview was via video conference, she didn't turn on her camera. I didn't appreciate this lack of eye contact, which makes the exchange less human. At the end of the interview, she told me word for word: 'I prefer to tell you now without making you wait: I like your profile, and I'm going to pass you to a second interview with a Salesforce manager. It will be either X, or Y, or Z.' I mentioned that I knew person Y, with whom I had already worked in the past. Following this, she replied: 'In that case, it won't be with that person, but rather with X or Z.' After this exchange, I waited for weeks without any news, neither by email nor by phone. I therefore sent a follow-up email, but I never got a response. I talked about it with the person who referred me. She took the initiative to contact HR. It was then that the latter replied that person Y, with whom I had worked three years ago, did not want me for this position. What a lack of professionalism! It is important to emphasize that, during our previous collaboration, this person herself lacked professionalism. At the time, everyone on the project complained about his behavior and attitude.
