Account Executive
Really quick interview process. The first interview was about 20 minutes, mainly going over my resume and asking questions to see if I might be a fit. I got a call the same day to set up a second interview. The second interview was with a Team Leader where we grabbed coffee (everyone did this or something similar) and they asked me a bunch of questions about my resume, then gave me a detailed rundown of the company and how it works. Right after that, I went back to the office, did a questionnaire, and then had a final chat with the office manager that was super short, like 5-10 minutes. After that, I think there was a background check and then the offer.

Account Representative
I got contacted from my resume online. The first interview was with the president of the company. It was pretty casual and lasted about 20 minutes. It was basically questions about my resume and me. He didn't share much about the company, how it operates, or compensation. It's hard to tell what they do from their website. He kept mentioning a manager in training program and that he's looking for people to train as managers. A few days later, I had a second interview. I got to the office and was placed in a room with a TV along with four other candidates. After about 25 minutes, a "leader" came and drove me to a coffee shop for a more in-depth interview. This is where he explained the compensation structure. Apparently, everyone starts at entry-level and has to go door-to-door selling the company's products to advance to the leader position, where they then learn to train and interview others. He said entry-level reps make $300-$500 weekly on average but couldn't explain how. There's no base pay or salary, only commission. No insurance or benefits. When I asked why there's no base pay, he said, "We don't want to tell you what your value is!" which suggests they don't invest in their employees.

Human Resources
I got a call back from an administrator who clarified a few things and then immediately scheduled me for an interview, which was great because I could start right away. The process went smoothly, and the hiring manager made me feel at ease while still asking challenging questions that only top candidates could handle. All my questions were answered, and I met with a top account rep. The next day was my second interview, where they also discussed the excellent opportunities for growth and leadership that lie ahead for me. The third and final interview concluded with a brief discussion about the position, followed by a standard compliance test and drug test. This marked the beginning of a great relationship with tactical and all my coworkers, who were very helpful from the start. My ongoing success and career advancement have been supported by great leaders to look up to and managers who genuinely care about my progress. I feel very fortunate to be working for a company that's expanding and I'm excited about my future with tactical.

Account Representative
I put my resume on Career Builder and got a call from Tactical Marketing. They gave me some basic info about the Account Representative position and wanted to set up an interview with the hiring manager. I went in not knowing what to expect, but it wasn't a mass interview like I'd experienced before. I met with the hiring manager who told me more about the role and how the company grows. It was professional, and I noticed awards in his office, and everyone else seemed very professional. I was told there would be 3 rounds total and I'd get a call back if selected for round 2. I got a call back and met with someone else who went into more detail about the position and the potential for growth into management, which was exciting because of the entrepreneurial opportunity. The second interview was also very professional, and I was nervous because I had no experience in sales or a professional office environment. They called me back for the 3rd round, which was a background check and drug test. I couldn't accept the position because I was moving, but I would definitely go back to Tactical Marketing if I could because they were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process.
