We'll also talk about how you'd handle certain situations and how you adapt to the culture here. There's a sales component too. It was a quick, basic interview for a restaurant role. Mostly behavioral questions about my availability, experience, and how I could help the team. I had one in-person interview with the GM and he gave me an offer at the end.

After submitting my application, the manager scheduled me for an interview the next day at 2:30 PM. I met with a different manager who couldn't find my application. When the interview began, he seemed to dislike me before I even spoke. Two days later, the first manager called me in again. Upon arrival, I was told they weren't expecting me. The manager who called me in had transferred, but they decided to proceed with the interview anyway, asking the same questions. I was then informed they had already hired two people and there was nothing I could do. It felt very unprofessional and like a waste of my time.
