The recruiter from texas was not professional and asked questions unrelated to the job. They were also overly curious about another offer I had, judging the company. This is unacceptable. The interview day was okay, the team is small and the office is good. I didn't enjoy the whole day of interviews, especially because one interviewer was very critical and judgmental.

The whole thing took about a week. First, I had a technical phone screen where they asked about my background, experience, and past jobs. Then, I got called in for an on-site interview that lasted all day and had three parts. It was tough but felt good. The first part was with a software engineer who asked about my background again, pretty much the same stuff from the phone screen. The second part was a pair-programming exercise where I had to code a solution in Java for a problem, with the engineer watching, giving feedback, and asking about my approach. That was a hard and surprising task. After that, we had lunch with some company folks, which was nice. The last part was with a tech lead, and we designed the architecture for a web app together. I felt pretty chill and excited by then. All three interviewers were really nice and helpful. Doing all the interviews in one day was tiring, but it's a good idea so you don't have to come back on other days, especially if you're from out of town like me. The best part is they gave me the result the same day, right after the last interview.

Despite a long interview process and ultimately not receiving an offer, I found this to be one of the best interview experiences I've had. The entire process was conducted at a very high standard. Just make sure you are well-prepared.
