The interview process was great and decisions were made quickly. I really liked the team. There was a panel interview at the end, but it was mostly to check for cultural fit and ensure you can manage key stakeholders. The sales team was part of the panel.

There were many interview rounds. After the last interview with the stakeholders, there was complete silence. The person whose team I would be working closely with was arrogant. He didn't smile during the interview and didn't acknowledge my thank-you email. When I asked him about the culture and why he enjoys working there, his responses were off-putting. He mentioned escalating issues to management instead of talking about a supportive culture, and how he is protective and well-liked by his team. I'm so glad I'm not pursuing this role. Being a supportive leader is good, but saying you're 'protecting' your people instead of being fair, and that you don't resolve issues among coworkers and prefer to escalate, is not good.

The interview process started with a phone chat with the recruiter, followed by another phone call with the hiring manager. Then, there was an in-person part where I met with 5 different people, including 2 managers and 3 team members. These in-person interviews were pretty quick, all happening one after another and lasting about 30 minutes each.
