I sent in my application online and then had a phone screen. The recruiter said the phone screen went well and that I'd move on to the next step. But then, like what happens way too often, I was ghosted. I emailed the recruiter three times, but never got a reply. It's understandable if you don't get the job, but it's the lack of respect for your time and feelings when you're job hunting that's frustrating.

Technical Behavioral

It started with a recruiter call after they liked my resume. The interview was supposed to be with the VP and other IT leaders, but most showed up via teleconference. The interview itself wasn't too rough. I tried to be honest and ask good questions to show I knew the architecture and challenges. After, it was silent for over a week because HR and recruiters were out. The recruiter finally told me another candidate really impressed T2. The whole thing wasn't awful, just took about 2 weeks from first contact to rejection. Didn't feel like I really had a chance though.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone interview with someone who does the same job in another location. Then, I had another interview with a colleague from the same department who has a similar level. The third interview was with the manager of the department. All interviews were casual and friendly. After the interviews, I was introduced to others in the department, and they were all very friendly and welcoming.
