Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at T-Systems.
Senior DevOps Engineer
The whole interview process took about two weeks, and I did get an offer. However, there are no projects available, and many employees have been on the bench for over a year. There's no career growth, but you can chill on the bench.
- Can you explain Azure concepts?
- Tell me about DevOps pipelines.
- What are your thoughts on infrastructure concepts like Terraform and ARM templates?
DevOps Engineer
Technical round 1 and 2 are there. Once you pass the first round, the second round should be fairly easy. The third round will be an HR round where salary negotiation will happen. Ask for market price, they will give you.
- Were there any Python boto3 questions?
DevOps Engineer
I had a call for a technical interview, which I passed. Then, a different HR person contacted me about a managerial round that was set up just two hours later. After that, I received a rejection email stating I wasn't a good fit. This happened because the interviewer asked about my notice period, which was two months, even though they seemed okay with it. This communication should have gone through HR, but it didn't. It felt very unprofessional.
- Tell me about your experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
- How do you use Ansible?
- What are your thoughts on Git?
