Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at T. Rowe Price.
Intern
The interview process included a hirevue section, followed by an interview with a recruiter, and then a panel final round. The hirevue involved a short test and then answering three questions within a 2-minute time limit, with unlimited attempts. The recruiter interview was 30 minutes long. The final interview lasted about an hour and consisted of two rounds with panel interviewers.
- Can you share an instance where you motivated another person?
Intern
The interviews consisted of behavioral questions. The first round was with the recruiter. The 2nd round was an hour long with 2 back to back behavioral. All of the interviewees held different positions. I ended being on one of the interviewers team for my internship.
- How do you approach problem-solving in a group setting?
Intern
The interview was pretty simple. I talked to two different people one after the other. They both asked the exact same stuff, so it felt a little repetitive, but honestly, it just made the second interview that much easier. The people interviewing me were nice and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible.
- Can you tell me about a time you disagreed with someone in a group project and how you handled communicating that?
- Share an experience where you took a leadership role in a group. What went well and what were the difficulties?
- What specific experiences do you have that make you a good fit for this role?
