The hiring process was pretty swift, taking only about two weeks from my first contact to receiving an offer. It kicked off with a brief phone chat, followed by a 'get to know you' interview at the office. The second in-office interview involved a mock sales presentation with the sales manager, and I also met with the branch manager. After that, there was a driving record check and a background check.

First you'll meet with a manager, watch a video, and fill out some paperwork. The manager will also give you a section of a presentation to memorize. You'll have about two days to memorize it before your next interview, where you'll deliver that part of the presentation to the manager as if they were the homeowner. You might mess up, it happens to everyone. Just try not to mess up too badly, or you won't be asked back. If you do fairly well, you'll then interview with the regional manager. If all goes well, you'll wait for your background check to come back clear of DUIs or anything more serious. If everything is good, you'll go through an intense 2-week training program: the first week is extremely intense System Pavers University, and the second week is online training. Note: If you don't pass your first week exam with 85% or higher, you won't continue employment. They take that very seriously. Good luck.

Behavioral Presentation

It was pretty fast. They started with a phone call to see if you could talk well, it took about 10-15 minutes. Then you go in to meet a manager, still checking if you can handle talking to people and aren't too nervous. If they like you, they give you a short script to learn and come back to present. You meet some department heads, again to see if you're friendly, talk well, and make eye contact.
