First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sysco.
Supply Chain Intern
The interview process was pretty smooth. There was just one round of behavioral questions, and then you hear back about the offer. The role can be located at any Sysco facility across the US.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Sysco?
Supply Planner
My interview process started with a phone screening from HR. It was a bit chaotic because multiple recruiters were reaching out through email, phone, and LinkedIn, so I wasn't sure who to communicate with. Once things were sorted out, I had an in-person interview. This involved two separate one-on-one meetings on-site in a small conference room. The questions were pretty standard and direct. I used some STAR method examples to answer. HR contacted me again a couple of weeks later to discuss salary. I tried to negotiate a higher figure, but they said it would be a game-changer if I didn't stick to my original request. I ended up accepting their lower offer, though it wasn't too far from what I initially asked for.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to make a tough call?
Supply Chain Analyst
The interview was a rigourous process. First, there was a telephonic interview covering resume and behavorial questions. The second step was a MS Access test and some simple math questions. The third round was a 1:1 interview back to back with 4 different people. Overall very good experience.
- What was your favorite course and explain why?
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5 years?
- Have you had any experience giving presentations?
