Behavioral

It was a really thorough interview process, with 3 rounds total. First, a phone interview with someone from corporate in Texas. Then, a 3-person interview happened in Harrisburg, PA. Finally, I had a coffee chat locally with the regional and district managers. The questions were mostly behavioral and direct. Everyone was awesome, super welcoming, and great to meet. After the last stage, they said I'd hear back within two weeks, and I'm still waiting. Fingers crossed, as I felt the interview went really well.

Behavioral Technical Case

You start by applying online, and after a few weeks or months, a recruiter will call to schedule a 30-45 minute phone interview. If they think you're a good fit, they'll schedule an in-person interview at your local Sysco. This is also when they start a thorough background check and drug screening. My in-person interview was about 6 weeks after I applied. It involved three one-hour interviews with my potential boss, the VP of sales, and the sales trainer. That same day, I found out I would get an offer. The recruiter called to discuss the offer, and this is when you can negotiate your base salary. I asked for 56k and they offered something close. The whole process took me several months, but it can be faster depending on their need for sales staff.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, a recruiter from corporate reached out for a quick 15-20 minute phone chat. They asked some basic questions and gave a rundown of the job. Then, I met with the District Manager offsite. It was mostly the same questions like 'Where do you see yourself in 5 years?', pretty straightforward. Finally, I met with 3 other people, including the VP of Sales, one by one. This part was long, took a couple of hours, and felt very scripted with lots of behavioral questions.
