Research Assistant
The interview process involved a recruiter call to discuss my background and interest in the role. This was followed by a technical screen where I was asked about my research experience, particularly in AI, and how I leverage it for my professional growth. The discussion also covered my academic interests, graduation timeline, and career aspirations (both short and long term).
- Can you tell me about your experience and why you are interested in this position?
- What are your short-term and long-term goals, and which subjects are you interested in?
- When do you anticipate graduating?

First you'll interview with college admin, then apply for the GRA position. After that, there's an interview with the PI. The interview could be 1 to 3 hours long, discussing your research interests and how they align with the PI's research experience and our shared goals.
- Tell me about your areas of interest regarding solar cells.
Research Assistant
Overall good interview. They asked for in-depth details about my background and aspirations. It's important to know your resume inside out and not fake any content. You should also analyze the position or role.
