The interview process had a few stages, including a coding challenge, a panel interview, and a presentation. The coding part used SQL initially and then Python in the final stage. It wasn't super tough, but they weren't great about giving feedback if you didn't make it through.

The interview process began with a recruiter screen, followed by an engineer phone screen. Then, I had a phone call with a recruiter to discuss the programming challenge, after which a coding challenge was scheduled. The process concluded with an onsite interview and an offer the very next day. There was a little bit of miscommunication with the recruiter and the senior HR person who made the offer; both called much earlier than scheduled, which threw me off. However, everyone else was really nice and sharp. I also got the coding challenge a full 24 hours ahead of time, which was a bit strange and confusing.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I applied via a recruiter I had prior contact with. The interviews were pretty straightforward. It began with a phone screen with the hiring manager, who seemed really enthusiastic about the company. The coding challenge was reasonable and not overly complicated; the tasks were based on actual work done at Synthego. They allowed me to use any programming language I preferred. Following that was an onsite presentation where people from various teams attended. They were all very pleasant and approachable. The questions were very specific, diving into details and directly related to my current job responsibilities. After the presentation, I was given a tour of the labs. The process concluded with a one-on-one meeting with top management, giving me the opportunity to inquire about their vision for the company and its future.
