First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Synthego.
Research Associate
They told me there would be lots of chances to grow and lead my own projects. That wasn't the case when I started. The interview itself was straightforward, but it required a good grasp of core knowledge.
- What draws you to Synthego?
Research Associate
I joined the engineering team at Synthego about a month ago. The overall process took about 3 weeks, which covered the initial HR screen, the phone screen with the hiring manager, the in-person interviews, and finally 1x1 with one of the co-founders. This defined to how quickly the interviewing process can go and gave me a promising impression that the company is growing at a very fast rate. It was so cool to be able to talk face to face with the CEO and to ask any questions I had in mind. I was also impressed with the HR team for their efficiency and their prompt responses on questions/concerns. They made sure there was least amount of wait time in between my interviewing steps.
- What are your goals for this position?
Research Associate
The initial phone screen with the interviewer was quite brief. He seemed to take offense when I asked why people would want to work there. He mentioned that they have a really rigorous interview process to ensure they only hire top candidates. It was hard to have a normal conversation with him, and it really made me less interested in the job.
