I interviewed with Syngenta (Italy) for a role, and the whole process took around three months, which was quite different from other Syngenta teams. First, I did a technical test (Cederpad), then a psychometric test, followed by a feedback interview, and finally a technical interview. After the technical interview, they said I'd hear back in two weeks. But, a month later, still no word, and they went silent. I tried to reach out to HR, but my email was ignored. I also emailed the Data Science Lead, who had answered my questions before the psychometric test, but he also stopped replying after the technical interview. Honestly, their hiring process could be better, maybe by simplifying it. Like, just picking one of a technical test, a technical interview, or a use case, instead of making us do all three. It's frustrating to go through a long process and then get no feedback, it just wastes our time.

I had an initial chat with HR and then spoke with some senior folks. They asked general questions, and it wasn't a very technical interview. It was tough to know what kind of answer they were looking for because they didn't explain the questions clearly. Maybe I should have given more general answers instead of trying to fill in the blanks. The team mentioned they'd decide quickly and give feedback within a week. More than a month passed, and I reached out to HR. By then, I figured I wouldn't get the job. They said the process was still ongoing and they hadn't decided. It's been months now and I've heard nothing back. It was really unprofessional not to get any feedback. Even a quick message saying I didn't get the position would have been sufficient.
