Sales Representative
I applied online and got contacted by an employee 2 days later. We had a phone call where they asked about my background. Then I was invited for an in-person interview the following week. When I got there, I had to fill out a form which surprisingly included agreement to a background check. After waiting nearly an hour, I met Anthony, the branch manager. He was really friendly and talked about the company's work, then revealed the job was essentially being a Verizon sales rep. I then had a second interview to get more details about the position. This interview covered the role, pay, and company more thoroughly. I learned it was a commission-only job, the salary would be lower than advertised, and workdays were 6 days a week, with an optional 7th, and commission was on top of salary. I then had a third interview with Anthony to clarify commission and benefits. He stated a salaried position wasn't possible and no one took it because commission was supposedly better. He also mentioned minimal employee benefits. Reading other reviews, it seems like a typical 3rd party sales marketing company, not a pyramid scheme, but sketchy because of the lack of clear pay info and conflicting details about commission. Overall, not a bad experience, but not for me. It might suit someone right out of high school with limited education.

Sales Representative
I saw the job posting on Craig's List and was emailed to confirm the commute was alright and if I was interested in the Marketing and Sales role for Verizon. The next day, I went in and saw a lot of people in the lobby which made me nervous. My first interview was with an Assistant Manager. I was invited back the following Friday for a second round where I shadowed an Account Manager. They explained their experience and what my sales duties for Verizon would entail, as well as the growth opportunities and hours. After that, I met with the hiring manager, Anthony, and we discussed a pay structure that worked for me. I start training on Monday.

Sales Assistant
Had an initial email and then a phone call for the sales role. It was pretty basic and helped me learn more about the company and the work culture. I think having more sales experience would have been beneficial. Overall, it was a good first step!
