Behavioral Presentation

I applied for a customer service role but was called about a managerial position. I had an in-person interview where the interviewer spoke a lot about the company and asked few questions about me. This was an 'informational interview', with a personal interview to follow if I accepted. I declined because the 'Managerial' position involved door-to-door sales, which was not in the original job description and not what I was looking for.

Behavioral Other

I interviewed with the General Manager in November 2016. It was a really honest and sincere interview, which made me rethink my initial hesitations about direct marketing companies after reading a negative review. The GM was professional yet very human, honestly answering all my critical questions. During the 2-hour chat, I saw he genuinely cares about employees, both professionally and personally, like an entrepreneur who sees everyone as family. He was upfront about what he could offer and what requests he couldn't meet, unlike others who might overpromise. He explained a lot about the industry and even offered career advice, even if I didn't join. I decided not to proceed because the job location wasn't ideal for my situation, but I believe the GM would have been a great mentor and Synergy Management a good place to work.

The interview experience was good and easy to understand, with nice people. There were 2 interviews. The first one was a group interview where they discussed the company, our potential role, and operational details like working hours. If selected, the second interview would be with a top account manager who would conduct the actual interview. They would then contact you within 2 days if they liked you.
