So I applied for this entry-level recruiter role and at first, it seemed really promising. The recruiting team reached out, and Synerfac seems to have a lot of different kinds of jobs, and this one looked like it could be a good career move. But honestly, the whole interview thing with Synerfac was super unprofessional. For an entry-level recruiter, it felt way too long, like three separate phone calls just to talk about one job. It became obvious pretty fast that I was actually overqualified, but they kept pushing for more interviews, which took up a lot of my time. The worst part was how the branch manager acted. They asked me super personal and inappropriate stuff, like where I was gonna live, who I’d be living with, and if I had a partner. That’s just not okay, especially for a recruiter job where you’re not supposed to ask that kind of thing. It really made me question if they even understand professional boundaries. Then, after I told them I had another offer and needed a decision fast (they'd basically said I had the job!), they just rejected me out of nowhere. That sudden change felt really unprofessional and made me wonder how their team communicates and handles hiring. Basically, the Synerfac interview process was a headache and made me doubt their company culture and if they respect professional lines. It’s a bummer that such a long, drawn-out process ended with a rejection after I was told I was a strong candidate. If you’re thinking about applying, just be careful about the interview process and what the company culture is actually like. From what I saw, it feels like a place with high turnover and they don't communicate well.

I had a phone screen with the Talent Acquisition team in the corporate office. Then, I had a Microsoft Teams interview with the recruiting manager. After that, I went in-person for an interview with the Recruiting Manager and the recruiting team. They extended an offer the following week.

I had a pretty average experience with the interview process, which involved a phone screening, a virtual interview, and then an in-person interview. It was pretty standard and had the usual interview questions.
