Technical Recruiter
So I applied for this entry-level recruiter role and at first, it seemed really promising. The recruiting team reached out, and Synerfac seems to have a lot of different kinds of jobs, and this one looked like it could be a good career move. But honestly, the whole interview thing with Synerfac was super unprofessional. For an entry-level recruiter, it felt way too long, like three separate phone calls just to talk about one job. It became obvious pretty fast that I was actually overqualified, but they kept pushing for more interviews, which took up a lot of my time. The worst part was how the branch manager acted. They asked me super personal and inappropriate stuff, like where I was gonna live, who I’d be living with, and if I had a partner. That’s just not okay, especially for a recruiter job where you’re not supposed to ask that kind of thing. It really made me question if they even understand professional boundaries. Then, after I told them I had another offer and needed a decision fast (they'd basically said I had the job!), they just rejected me out of nowhere. That sudden change felt really unprofessional and made me wonder how their team communicates and handles hiring. Basically, the Synerfac interview process was a headache and made me doubt their company culture and if they respect professional lines. It’s a bummer that such a long, drawn-out process ended with a rejection after I was told I was a strong candidate. If you’re thinking about applying, just be careful about the interview process and what the company culture is actually like. From what I saw, it feels like a place with high turnover and they don't communicate well.

Sales Development Representative
The first initial phone call with the recruiter is really just to give you some information on the company and go through some questions about your experience. The second part of the interview process is meeting with the Branch Manager. He was super nice and very easy to talk to, he tried to make me feel comfortable and gave me a great feel for the company. He asked questions but the majority of the time he was talking about his expectations, what a typical day would look like, and some others things about the company. There is a third part to the process, but I decided not to go further in the process.
- Can you tell me about yourself and why you were interested in a sales role?
- Could you share an instance where you faced rejection or an outcome that wasn't as anticipated?
- Do you feel comfortable making cold calls?
Account Manager
I talked with the branch manager. He seemed okay and we discussed the territories and how the business operates. He was more interested in hearing about my past experience in retail, rather than asking situational questions. I mentioned that I have good interpersonal communication skills and that I enjoy interacting with people.

Internal Role
The whole interview process was super smooth and easy. The TA manager I spoke with was really knowledgeable and helpful the entire time. It wrapped up in about two weeks, which is awesome when you think about how long other company interviews can drag on. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'd totally recommend it!
- Are you competitive with yourself?
