Quality Engineer
I had a QA tech interview and honestly, it was just okay. It started with a quick intro, then we dove into the technical stuff really fast. They asked a ton about automation testing and frameworks. There was also a live coding portion where I had to write a script. A lot of the questions were super coding-focused, not much on QA strategy or process, just hands-on technical details. Overall, it felt like they really cared about coding skills.
- What's your reasoning for selecting this particular framework?
- Describe the design process for the framework you worked with.
- Can you explain your choice of this framework and how you designed it?
Quality Assurance Analyst
The interview process was smooth with three rounds in total: two technical rounds and one client-facing round. The overall experience was positive. The notice period is also a significant factor, and an immediate joiner might be eligible for a joining bonus.
- Can you discuss Java Programming?
- What are OOPS concepts?
- Explain API Rest Assured Automation.
QA Manager
I got an offer but declined it. Definitely do not join them on H1B if you are a US hire (FTE). I applied through a LinkedIn post by the recruiter. Two days after I emailed my profile, I got a call back. Before the first technical round, I received an email detailing the compensation, a joining bonus, and relocation reimbursement that we had discussed. The recruiter seemed really eager to fill the position, pushing to close it quickly and asking for interview times the very next day without considering my schedule. The first technical round was easy because I had direct experience. After passing the first round, the recruiter called back for feedback but then went back on the earlier email, saying they weren't getting approval for a certain amount that was already discussed and in writing. When I lost interest, the recruiter came back with the original offer. After that, there were two client interviews, which were very straightforward, almost no-brainers. These client interviews were rescheduled twice, just minutes before they were supposed to start, with weak excuses and showing no respect for my time. The recruiter was constantly calling and messaging me on WhatsApp throughout the day, completely disregarding my work schedule and meetings. This was very unprofessional, especially since I'm in the US and working for a US client. I received an offer that was cleverly manipulated. They reduced the relocation amount from what was initially emailed and confirmed. They added a clause stating that if I quit within a year of joining, I'd have to pay back USD 10,000. The joining bonus, initially confirmed as a one-time payment, was broken into three parts in the offer letter and made taxable. There was no mention of severance pay. The offer letter focused entirely on what happens if the company terminates an employee, protecting the organization in all situations and showing little regard for the employee.
- Can you explain your experience with SQL?
- What is your understanding of STLC?
- How do you approach Agile methodologies?
