Software Test Engineer
So, the interview stuff, it went like this: first a call with the recruiter, then a technical interview with Synechron’s internal team, and finally a client interview. The client one was all about my automation testing skills and what I've done in real projects.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What testing frameworks do you know?
Test Engineer
It was an easy interview where they asked about QA agile methodology and previous project work. They also asked how step definition maps to test case execution, what is severity and priority, the extension of the Gherkin language file, and what is a properties file.
- Can you elaborate on QA agile methodology and your past project experiences?
- Explain the relationship between step definitions and test case execution.
- What's the difference between severity and priority in bug reporting?
Software Test Engineer
The interview was a single-day event, entirely technical. It was scheduled, not a walk-in. There were 2 technical rounds focusing on Java and Selenium programs, relevant to banking projects. The manager round was also technical, with a focus on frameworks used.
- Can you tell me about your basic Java knowledge?
