First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Synechron.
Technical Consultant
So at Synechron, it's usually three rounds. First, there's a technical interview where they check your core skills. They'll ask stuff about Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and some basic problem-solving. They also want to chat about your past projects and what you've actually done. Then, Round 2 is a more advanced technical interview. This is where they get into the nitty-gritty of system design, talk about real-time situations, and how to optimize performance. They'll also dig deeper into frameworks, architecture, and coding ideas, and might throw in some case studies or really tough problems. Finally, Round 3 is with a manager and HR. This is more about if you'd fit into the team, how good your communication and leadership skills are. They'll ask about your career plans, what you expect, when you can start, and your salary ideas. It's also about seeing if you're a cultural fit and if you align with the company's values.
- Tell me about your experience with JAVA, Spring, SpringBoot, and Microservices.
- Can you elaborate on your understanding of JAVA, Spring, SpringBoot, and Microservices?
- How would you describe your knowledge of JAVA, Spring, SpringBoot, and Microservices?
Consultant
The interview was set for a weekend, and the organization was quite professional with helpful facilitators. I was called in for the first round after a two-hour wait. Things were great until I met the interviewer, who seemed tired and kept yawning. Without letting me introduce myself, they immediately started asking very basic technical questions. It felt a bit like a government office, and it was a really negative experience.
- Could you answer some general questions?
- Can you answer these one-word technical questions?
Consultant
Had multiple rounds with two interviewers each. They were all nice and professional. I got good feedback throughout and the last interviewer mentioned a final round with management. However, the same job kept getting posted. HR later said I wasn't successful, which was surprising. I think maybe the headcount wasn't approved, or the project pipeline wasn't confirmed, or they were just checking the talent market. This seems common now. Be careful with these kinds of "vacancies" to avoid disappointment and wasted effort.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What does this company do?
