I applied online and a few weeks later the recruiter reached out via email with some questions about salary expectations, what I know about the company, and my availability for the stated hours. Then I got an email to schedule a phone interview which was very brief, about 5 minutes. They then scheduled me for an onsite interview. It was kind of strange but not stressful to have two panel interviews on the same day. The staff was very pleasant. After that, the recruiter emailed asking for copies of my W2, which I've never heard of and didn't like. It feels like it could work against you in this economy and doesn't give you leverage for salary negotiations.
