I applied online, and about a week later I was sent an email to schedule my phone interview. I completed the phone interview and was told I was eligible for an on-site interview, and to continue to check online to schedule. For 4 weeks the system said there were no slots available, and then I received an email instructing me to visit the site because now there were slots available. I completed the on-site interview with a man and a woman, with basic "tell us about a time" questions. They were very friendly but also very to the point. I feel like I did well, just waiting for a call tomorrow.

I applied on the company's website and had to provide my social security number, date of birth, and driver's license information to even be considered. After filling out a lot of fields, I was told to schedule a phone interview through their site. I finally got one scheduled, and it went well, with the interviewer saying I qualified for the next step: an in-person interview in Phoenix. I had to go back to their website to find an available slot for that, which was difficult. By the time I got one, I suspected the position was already filled since training had started. A few months later, I saw a similar ad for a part-time client services role, this time under Synchrony Financial (formerly GE Financial). I called the employment line instead of using the website. The first time I called, they told me to call back in four days on a Friday, when new openings are posted. I called on Friday and was able to schedule an in-person interview, and was told to bring my application and resume. The interview happened, and at the end, they said they'd make a decision on Friday and let me know. Friday came and went with no word, so I had to call them multiple times. Finally, I was told I wasn't selected due to high competition, and they sent a rejection email late that night. Three weeks later, they are still advertising the position, even on TV, despite telling me it was filled.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online and then got an email a couple days later to set up a phone interview. The recruiter called, asked some basic screen questions, and then scheduled a face-to-face interview for a few days later. I interviewed with two women who asked questions back and forth. They chatted about the job description, pay, hours, and training schedule. I thought I did great leaving the interview, but sadly I got a rejection.
