The HR interview was nice, but the one with the manager was super uncomfortable. It was a 30-minute call with the interviewer sitting at a 90-degree angle to the camera, looking at some papers uninterestedly. They didn't look directly at the camera at all. I felt like I was talking to myself.

I had a 2-on-2 interview with the lab manager and team leader, where they checked my form, certs, and payslips. The team leader was nice, but the lab manager made me realize I didn't want the job in that environment. Afterwards, we did a tour of the lab, which had a very strong smell of everything all together at once.

They reached out to me. I went through 3 interviews. First was an exploratory chat with the external recruiter. Then, I had another interview with the recruiter and their supervisor. Finally, I interviewed with the hiring manager. They said they'd be in touch, but they never were, not even after I emailed them. They were quick to respond when they liked me, but totally ignored me when they decided against me. Pretty bad experience overall.

The interview process had two stages. The first stage was a remote interview with the Head of Regulatory and HR. We talked through my CV and they asked competency-based questions. I also had a chance to show my transferable skills and qualities with examples. The second stage was in person and included a presentation and a more detailed version of the first stage. The presentation was on a regulatory topic to see how clearly and concisely I could display my knowledge. It was great talking to everyone, and the staff on-site were friendly.
