Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Swisslog.
Integration Engineer
The HR reached out to me, and they seemed really interested in my profile. I went through two interview rounds, which were both relaxed and quite technical. I got good feedback and felt optimistic about getting an offer, but ultimately, I didn't receive one.
- Could you introduce yourself?
Maintenance Engineer
The hiring process with Swisslog in Norway was a real letdown. It dragged on forever, HR never gave any useful feedback, and the whole vibe felt disrespectful. Based on what I've seen and heard, the work environment in Norway is rough, with lots of people leaving and not much care for employee well-being. They don't seem to value their staff. Seriously, I'd tell others to avoid Swisslog in Norway.
- Could you share some general thoughts on maintenance procedures?
- How would you describe our operational workflow?
- Do you have experience with specific types of equipment used in this role?
System Design Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward interview for the job. You just need to know AutoCAD or Revit, and be good with Excel and Microsoft Word for making proposals. Basic knowledge of conveyors, robotics, or ASRS is also helpful. A good attitude is important too. Honestly, it wasn't too difficult.
- What are your salary expectations?
- What benefits are you currently receiving from your employer?
- Are you familiar with any CAD software?
