First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SWBC.
Payment Resolution Specialist
Had 2 virtual interviews. They asked about my past job experience and how it relates to the job I applied for. They also asked basic computer questions and about my experience with meeting deadlines and handling clients, and performance questions. They don't share their metrics until after you are hired.

Content Strategist
I had two interviews with SWBC, both bad. The first time, I interviewed for a content writer job in marketing over a year ago. It was 3 rounds and they said I was a top candidate. After the third interview, I heard nothing for weeks. I reached out twice and still nothing. Finally, I got an automated rejection. I asked HR for feedback, but got no response. They hired someone with less experience. Then, in mid-June, I got a call about a content strategist role I supposedly applied for months ago. I almost declined, but the recruiter said the ghosting wouldn't happen again. So I said yes. I had one interview via MS Teams with the VP of Digital and Content Marketing. It was a good chat. But then, silence again. I sent my portfolio, a thank you email, and two follow-up emails to both the interviewer and HR. Nothing. I was ghosted again. I won't work for a company that disrespects job seekers.

Intern
I’m so thankful for this chance! It started with a great recruiter call. Then, I had an in-person meeting where I got to know the team and learn more about the job and the company. The final decision call wrapped everything up. I'm excited to start this journey with such a great team!
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Could you go over your CV with me?
- What experiences can you share?
Senior Software Engineer
Really disappointing experience. I first applied for a role in their Swivel division. After two interviews, we decided together it wasn't the right fit. They did suggest I consider another position, which I agreed to. I then had two more interviews, all technical and all basically the same questions, like they were reading from a script with outdated questions. Even with great feedback, I knew their questions by heart after a while! They ended up ghosting me. A company that ghosts a candidate after 4 hours of interviews without even a follow-up message doesn't deserve good engineers. If they treat people like that during hiring, they won't be a quality company to work for.
- Can you explain SQL Injection attacks?
- What is an abstract class?
- What are clustered indexes in SQL Server?
