Store Manager
Store Manager
The interviewer spent more time discussing her own background and career path than exploring my experience or business strategy. Some fundamental details like salary and work location were not clearly communicated.
- How would you drive more foot traffic to the store?
Store Manager
They do a lot of checking before hiring. First, there's a one-on-one with the District Manager. If that goes well, you'll have a one-on-one or teleconference interview with the Regional Manager about a week or two later. While that's happening, they do a really thorough background check to make sure you're a great candidate. The whole thing takes about 3 weeks. They also include some extra tests and role-play scenarios. It's a set process to keep things consistent for everyone. Like most interviews, you'll talk about your strengths and how you'd handle specific simulated situations.
- What would you do with $1,000?
- How would you handle an unruly customer exhibiting specific behavior in your store?
