Sales Consultant
Got referred by a friend. The assistant manager and manager were friendly and took turns asking questions. They asked some simple questions, then had me do a roleplay to sell a collection to them. After that, they asked some admin questions.
- Can you share an instance where you provided excellent customer service?
- Describe a time you experienced outstanding customer service yourself.
- In this scenario, how would you approach selling these particular products to a customer?
Sales Consultant
They start with some basic questions about retail, selling, sales, and product knowledge, plus what you know about the company. You'll also get situational questions about teamwork. They'll ask if you're available for night shifts or weekends and if you can stand all day.
- Can you tell me about your availability and if you're able to cover shifts?
Sales Consultant
It started off with a phone call, and I actually thought it was going to be more of a casual chat, but they actually threw some spontaneous questions about the company at me. So, it's probably a good idea to do a little research before you even talk to them.
- Can you tell me about your past experience in retail or other customer-facing roles?
- Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult customer.
- How did you handle a tricky customer situation?
