Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Swank Motion Pictures.
Account Manager
It was a 4-step interview process. The first was a 15-minute phone call with HR, where they went over the job duties and asked about my background. Then, I had a second interview with HR where I again talked about my past experience and answered some behavioral questions using the STAR method. The third interview was with the VP of HR, and it was more of the same: discussing my background and answering behavioral questions. Finally, I met with the SVP of studio relations, who also wanted to hear about my background. After passing these interviews, I had to complete a personality and critical thinking test.

Account Manager
The interview process is very thorough. They had me in for 4-5 interviews. However, I saw this as a positive because I really got to know the company and the job before I signed on. Just be prepared for it to take longer, but it is worth it. Jackie is an excellent recruiter, super nice and friendly, and always get back to you promptly.
- What makes you a standout candidate for this role?
Account Manager
This company's interview process is an absolute nightmare, with a total of FOUR interviews that all consisted of the same repetitive questions. I never felt like I was learning more about the company, and I never felt like they learned more about me. Throughout the process, they continued to throw additional job descriptions at me to consider, which felt like a total bait-and-switch. By the time I got to an in-person interview, I was unsure which position I was being considered for. One interview, which was scheduled in advance and for which I had to take PTO, was rescheduled because HR "did not have time for it that day." In short, this company is the most unprofessional company I have ever interacted with. If they reach out to you on LinkedIn, do not respond!
- What would your current manager say are your best qualities?
