Met at a career fair at school. Pretty much just asked to present my portfolio, checked my experience, and asked if I had a preferred office location. They interviewed a lot of candidates, and I found that the most important thing was to sell myself and my portfolio.

There were two interviewers who really seemed to take my experience into consideration, which was a bit surprising for a landscape architect role since it wasn't the usual BLA or MLA background. However, one of them was quite discouraging and skeptical. He really seemed to think it was a big problem that I didn't know Autocad yet, even though I was already skilled in Vectorworks and knew they had another junior designer who was learning Autocad. I ended up getting hired by a different company and picked up Autocad pretty quickly within a couple of months.

the interview was on zoom, it felt nice and not stressful. they asked to see my portfolio, inquired about my interest in SWA, and prompted me to introduce myself, discuss my skills, and go over my previous role and responsibilities.
