You start with a 'gatekeeper' interview via Zoom with Laura, who is really warm and welcoming. Suzy values culture fit, wanting to hire good, smart people without making it feel like an assembly line. After that, you meet with the leaders of the department you'd be in. The number of leaders determines the number of interviews. I had three with the sales leaders, followed by a fourth where I did a mock pitch of their product to them and the Chief Customer Officer. She joined at the end briefly. Laura was super communicative throughout, checking in between my interviews with the sales leaders to get my feedback, debrief, and prep me. Her communication was so good that I turned down two other offers because I really wanted to work at Suzy. It's honestly the best interview experience I've had. The process isn't necessarily hard, but it is very in-depth to make sure they hire someone who's a good fit. It'll be tough if you're not a fit, but enjoyable if you are.

The interview process felt insincere and the interviewer seemed to have a bias against me from the start, making it feel like they were looking for reasons to disqualify me. I was also misled about the next steps. After sensing the conversation wasn't progressing, I asked how I could move forward. I was told I'd speak with other sales team members and hear back in about three days. However, I was ghosted and never received any communication about their decision. If this reflects the company culture, I'd advise looking elsewhere. Their platform with only 1 million US respondents isn't particularly unique compared to others.

First, there was a screening call. Then, I met with a few different leaders. After that, I met with a seller to get a day in the life perspective. Finally, I did a mock pitch and got an offer. It was a good process overall; I got to meet lots of people so I'll know familiar faces when I start, and I really got a feel for the culture and what the job will be like.
