First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Suzy.
VP Sales
I went through four rounds of interviews, and each one seemed to go really well. The conversations were positive, and I received encouraging feedback along the way. However, after the final interview, communication just stopped. I sent a couple of polite follow-ups to check on the status and express continued interest, but I never heard back from anyone.
- Can you tell me about how you cultivate collaboration and ongoing improvement in your sales teams? How does coaching fit into your management approach? And how do you adjust your leadership for different team members?

Research Manager
So first there was HR screening, then an interview with the team lead, and then a third part which was an activity-based interview/skills test. Everyone was really nice, but I had to chase them for an update after my second interview because they weren't proactive. I only followed up because they'd said I seemed like a great fit and it felt weird not hearing back. When I did follow up, they offered me the third interview/skills test right away (four weeks after my initial application response). And then... ghosted again. This time I didn't bother following up. Honestly, the whole experience didn't give me a good vibe about how organized the company is or what the work environment might be like.
- Can you describe how you manage working in a fast-paced setting?

Vice President
Had an initial 30-minute chat with the HR recruiter over the phone, who then advanced me to the next stage. Following that, I had a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. I really enjoyed my conversations with both of them. We talked about the objectives for the position and the company's overall strategy and aims.
- Tell me about your management style.
- Can you give some specific examples of your accomplishments as listed on your resume?
- What are your thoughts on the plans for this role?
Account Executive
You start with a 'gatekeeper' interview via Zoom with Laura, who is really warm and welcoming. Suzy values culture fit, wanting to hire good, smart people without making it feel like an assembly line. After that, you meet with the leaders of the department you'd be in. The number of leaders determines the number of interviews. I had three with the sales leaders, followed by a fourth where I did a mock pitch of their product to them and the Chief Customer Officer. She joined at the end briefly. Laura was super communicative throughout, checking in between my interviews with the sales leaders to get my feedback, debrief, and prep me. Her communication was so good that I turned down two other offers because I really wanted to work at Suzy. It's honestly the best interview experience I've had. The process isn't necessarily hard, but it is very in-depth to make sure they hire someone who's a good fit. It'll be tough if you're not a fit, but enjoyable if you are.
- Can you share an experience of handling a challenging client, detailing your approach and the result?
