First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sutherland.
BPO Associate
Started with an HR call, they talked about the job, pay, shifts and location. Then a voice and accent round to check my English speaking skills. After that, an online aptitude and typing test. The last round was with operations, they asked how I'd handle angry customers or if I didn't know something. Finally, they gave me an offer letter and asked for documents.

Sutherland's interview process usually kicks off with a basic screening, either a phone chat or an online test, to check for fundamental skills, how you communicate, and if you seem like a good fit. If you make it past that, they'll set up a more detailed interview where they'll likely ask you about different situations and your past behavior to see how you solve problems and handle customer service. Depending on the job, there might also be a technical or skills test. The last step is usually a chat with a hiring manager or team lead to see if you fit in with the team and to talk about pay. It's generally a pretty straightforward process and can differ a bit based on the specific role.
