First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sutherland.
Account Manager
It was quite thorough with two panel interviews and the initial filters were one-on-one. The first one after the recruiter call was with the Site Director, followed by more than 5 interviews with the SVPs of the account.
- How do you maintain stable rotation levels?
- How do you ensure results are achieved?
Account Manager
It was a really straightforward process, just make sure you have all the necessary information. Always be truthful and give it your best shot throughout. You'll be asked questions as you go, so make sure you ask some yourself too.
- What are your future career aspirations?
Account Manager
The interview process really showed the unprofessional and mediocre state Sutherland has become. The HR person coordinating my interview didn't explain the job role well, struggled to arrange interviews with Directors and Sr. Directors, and importantly, didn't give me timely and correct information. I waited almost 30 days, and each time the recruiter said I'd cleared the rounds and had "Wonderful" feedback from the Sr. Director, and they were eager for me to join. This continued for over 4 weeks. Twice, the recruiter called me proactively to say an offer was coming soon. However, there was apparently a delay with this job opening, and instead of explaining clearly, he put me on hold, looking for other openings. When he finally got back to me with an offer, I declined. By then, I realized how unorganized the company was, and that if the manager interview was so slack and below par, the company would offer little in this critical role. I also had another offer by then. The main thing is I wasted 3 weeks and missed out on another offer. My advice to others interviewing here is to get a Job Description and set clear timeframes with the HR involved. The entire experience was disappointing, and one incompetent HR recruiter really let down the company's image.

- How do you manage a team of over 100 associates?
- What are your strategies for client relationships?
