I applied via LinkedIn and the next day got an email with instructions for a test where I had to record myself answering questions. Some of the first questions were about my availability, and also included position details that really should have been in the job description from the start. For example, a crazy rotation that includes all 3 shifts in the same week, with no mention of compensation. I told the recruiter I wasn't proceeding, but they keep sending automated emails with new deadlines for the test. This makes me think they're desperate and can't even get someone to talk to candidates directly.

Behavioral Other

I applied for a Customer Support Consultant role at SupportYourApp and honestly, it was a waste of my time. They didn't mention salary upfront and instead sent a long video interview which took hours to prepare, answer, and record. After all that, the salary they offered was ridiculously low, nowhere near what's listed on Glassdoor, like $5 per hour. I tried to negotiate, explaining my expertise and offering to meet halfway, but they sent a generic rejection. It seems I dodged a bullet, especially after reading a former employee's review about their hypocrisy. My experience confirms they treat candidates and employees poorly, like puppets. All the positive reviews seem fake. I don't recommend this company if you value your time, skills, and dignity. Stay away.

Technical Other

This was an awful experience. First, I did a video interview. A week later, an HR person asked me to complete an English assessment and provide my computer specs and wifi speed. I received this email on a Monday afternoon with a deadline of 9 AM the next day, which was ridiculous. I did what they asked, and the following day they said they couldn't proceed with my application due to project requirements, again, ridiculous. It was a waste of my time, very unprofessional and unserious. Not recommended at all.
