My friend sent me the link for the job, so I applied online for the Remote Services Technician role. I created an account and filled in all my education and work history. After submitting, I had a technical test covering basic computer knowledge and interpreting two flow diagrams with questions. It was easy and I had 23 minutes to finish. Once I passed, I got to pick my interview date and time. The interview itself was on the phone and took about 45 minutes. At the end, they said I didn't quite fit their current needs but asked if I'd be interested in upskilling if they hired me. They also mentioned they had enough information for now and would reach out about next steps if I moved forward. The interviewer was really nice, and overall, it went well.

I passed an online skills test and then got set up for a phone interview the very next day. The person called and we talked about my computer specs to check if they were good enough. Then they asked if I could be available 24/7. I said that wouldn't be an issue since school is only part-time for me. They then repeated that I absolutely had to be available 100% of the time and said I could reapply when I'm totally free. So I ended the call. Wish they mentioned that before I applied, you know? It's weird because I've heard of other people in school doing this basic job.
