Customer Service Representative
This interview process was quite long, maybe even difficult, because you interview with eight different people at eight different times, and two of those were on Skype. So it can take up a significant amount of your time, especially if you have to travel back and forth for them. The pay for a customer service representative is okay, and might sound good at first, but by the time they're done with the process, most people have already found and accepted other jobs. Anyone interviewing here should know there will be multiple interviews with different people, and they tend to ask the same questions over and over. Some questions aren't even related to the job but are more about your personal life, like your hobbies, your feelings, and who you are as a person. They say they do this to find the best fit for the company and ensure you align with the team. The main drawback is the significant time investment. If you aren't selected, you've likely spent a lot of time on interviews and feel pretty annoyed. Or, by the time they decide to make an offer, you've probably already accepted another position. They end up wasting your time, which is pretty inconsiderate for just a customer service role, even if they're generally nice.
- What would you tell your younger self if you could go back?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
- Do you like living here and why?
Customer Service Representative
I sent in my application online, and it took about a month before I heard back and got asked for an interview. The first call felt like they weren't really paying attention, but they did set up a Zoom meeting with a few people. The office I interviewed at is pretty new, maybe less than a year old, and it seemed like there wasn't much oversight since they were a bit slow with the interviewing and hiring process. Even though the people I spoke with on the phone were encouraging and seemed interested in moving forward, I eventually got a rejection. It seems like this wasn't just my experience, based on what others have said online.
- Can you tell me about the possibilities for career advancement?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process is lengthy but well worth it! You will interview with several people, some in person and some via webcam. They want to get to know YOU and make sure you will be happy and be a great fit for the company. Everyone in the call center goes through the same process so you know that you will be working with quality, amazing people!
- Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your hobbies outside of work?
