I applied online and the whole thing took about two weeks. A recruiter called me to invite me to an assessment centre and interview at their main office in Lucan. When I got there, there were 12 of us and they started with a PowerPoint about the company's history. Then we had to introduce ourselves to everyone, including the interviewers. After that, we were split into four teams and did three teamwork exercises, with the teams being shuffled around. Next, we had to pick two products from a list and present them, explaining why they should be bought. Following that, we were called in one by one for a role-play with an interviewer who acted as the customer and me as the shop assistant in two different scenarios. Then, I had to fill out some paperwork and wait for a one-on-one interview. This lasted about 15 minutes and involved questions about my experience, availability, and how I spend my spare time. After the interviews, they mentioned they'd call the successful candidates and send letters to the others. Two days later, I got a call offering me the job. I was then scheduled for a two-day training back in Lucan.
